The New Year is upon us and that means another year of quality camps, events, tournaments, etc. courtesy of NY2LA Sports.  Here’s a brief look at what’s in store during the remaining part of the winter, spring, and summer in 2018.

EXCLUSIVE MIDDLE SCHOOL PLATFORMS

GNBA BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION – SPRING 2018
This highly skilled middle school circuit has become an exceptional development proving grounds for young players and teams looking to improve through competition while also getting high caliber exposure opportunities.  The developmental circuit has three required weekends (i.e. 2 regular season and 1 championship) league play tipping off the first two weekends (Wisconsin & Illinois) and all teams vying for the championship the final weekend of play in Illinois.  In addition top prospects will also compete in an end of summer camp that consists of skill work, game play, etc.  The focus of this circuit is to advance the talent and skill level of every participant as much as possible through high level competition platforms.  Entering its fourth year the Generation Next Basketball Association “GNBA” has become synonymous with elite youth basketball and prospects with a list of alumni that developed and secured college scholarships.  Past participants include, but are not limited to, Michael Foster (Arizona State), Jontay Porter (Washington), Jordan McCabe (West Virginia), Tyler Herro (Wisconsin), Ethan Henderson (Arkansas), David DeJulius (Michigan), Carte’Are Gordon (Saint Louis), Markese Jacobs (Kansas), John Diener (DePaul), Reggie Perry (Arkansas), Desi Sills (Arkansas), Joe Wieskamp (Iowa), etc.  The league is for boys 6th-8th grade teams.  For more information on the 2018 GNBA Basketball Association please visit GNBABASKETBALL.COM

GNBA TOP 40 CAMP – SEPTEMBER 1-2, 2018
This skill and competitive development proving ground is a culmination of the GNBA Basketball Association and is an invitation camp for elite 6th-8th middle school talent that is a continuance of our past Generation Next All-Star and Junior Generation Next All-Star Camps.  The camp puts a heavy emphasis on skill development along with exposure through a variety of skill sessions, game play, and educational sessions.  The alumni that have participated in these camps is a who’s who of many top prospects both regionally and nationally including, but not limited to, the following:  Jabari Parker (Milwaukee Bucks), Kevon Looney (Golden State Warriors), Marcus Paige, Jean-Pierre Tokoto, Deonte Burton, Siyani Chambers, Charlie Moore, Duane Wilson Jr., Dominique Collier, Riley LaChance, etc.  For more information on the 2017 GNBA Camp please visit GNBABASKETBALL.COM

EXCLUSIVE HIGH SCHOOL PLATFORMS
NY2LA BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION – SPRING & SUMMER 2018
TEXAS, MINNESOTA, WISCONSIN

This second year high school developmental and exposure platform will once again take place during some of the 2018 “live” period weekends and will have divisions for 15U-17U teams.  The 2017 campaign will feature stops in Texas April 20-22, 2018, Minnesota April 27-29, 2018, and Wisconsin July 11-15, 2018.  Teams will compete in regular season league play during the two spring weekends and the circuit will culminate with championship play as part of the Next Level Invitational July 11-15, 2018 in Wisconsin.  Designed with a primary focus and purpose on helping prospects continue to develop while providing them high quality exposure opportunities, the NY2LA Basketball Association saw a number of prospects secure Division 1 and Division 2 scholarships during its first year while more benefitted with opportunities to play at the Division 3, NAIA, and NJCAA level.  The 2018 season already has a number of programs set to compete once again.  For more information on the 2018 NY2LA Basketball Association please visit us at NY2LABASKETBALL.COM

SWISH ‘N DISH SPRING WARM-UP – MARCH 30-APRIL 2, 2018 – WISCONSIN

Open to boys 9U-17U travel teams, the Swish ‘N Dish is one of the premiere developmental, competition, and exposure platforms to tip off the travel season annually.  Historically laced with an alumni that includes multiple McDonald’s All-Americans, Jordan Brand All-American’s, and NBA Draft picks, the Swish ‘N Dish tournament brings together a quality collection of elite travel teams and quality regional and national scouts and it is one of the premier exposure platforms in the country each year regardless of region.  Last year’s tournament had representatives in attendance once again from media outlets like ESPN, RIVALS, SCOUT/247SPORTS, NY2LASPORTS.COM, etc.  The tournament features multi-team discounts with individual trophies/medals and t-shirts for all 1st and 2nd place team participants.  For more information on the 2018 Swish ‘N Dish Spring Warm-Up please CLICK HERE

LONE STAR INVITATIONAL - APRIL 20-22, 2018 - TEXAS
ELIGIBLE FOR NCAA CERTIFICATION IN 2018

One of the premiere exposure platforms in the country annually during the April “live” period and it is once again eligible for certification for Division 1 College Coaches to attend in 2018.  This platform is for boys 15U-17U teams 16U-17U teams and it will once again feature an open division (i.e. boys 16U-17U teams only) and games that are part of the NY2LA Basketball Association (i.e. boys 15U-17U)  in similar fashion as was done in 2017.  Open division teams will compete in pool play games followed by single elimination championship bracket play.  The tournament will again feature multi-team discounts will all 1st and 2nd place teams receiving individual trophies/medals and t-shirts.  For more information on the 2018 NY2LA Sports Lone Star Invitational please CLICK HERE

SPRING EXTRAVAGANZA – APRIL 27-29, 2018 – MINNESOTA
ELIGIBLE FOR NCAA CERTIFICATION IN 2018

NY2LA SPORTS INVITATIONAL – MAY 18-20, 2018 – WISCONSIN

SUMMER TRAVEL PLATFORMS
NEXT LEVEL INVITATIONAL – JULY 11-15, 2018 – WISCONSIN
ELIGIBLE FOR NCAA CERTIFICATION IN 2018

Annually regarded as one of the premiere exposure platforms to tip off the July “live” period for Division 1 college coaches, the Next Level Invitational is open to boys 15U-17U travel teams and it is once again eligible for certification in 2018.  This year’s event will once again serve as a duel host to both the Next Level Invitational and the championships for the NY2LA Basketball Association.  As such the NY2LA Basketball Association teams will compete for league championships the first three days while open division teams will participate in pool play.  It will again culminate with all teams then joining together to compete for the Next Level Invitational Championship during the final three days of the platform.  Division 1, 2, 3, NAIA, and NJCAA College Coaches are once again expected to be in attendance along with a host of regional and national recruiting services.  Annually this event generates a number of scholarship offers from various levels for participants.  Multi-Team discounts are again available with all 1st and 2nd place teams receiving individual trophies/medals and t-shirts.  For more information on the 2018 Next Level Invitational please CLICK HERE

SUMMER JAM – JULY 18-22, 2018 – WISCONSIN
ELIGIBLE FOR NCAA CERTIFICATION IN 2018

Annually regarded as one of the measuring sticks for exposure during the month of July, this platform is once again eligible for certification in 2018.  This platform has become a who’s who for top prospects nationally with an alumni list filled with McDonald’s All-Americans, Jordan Brand All-Americans, and NBA Draft picks.  In addition to top prospects schools and head coaches from across the country annually make the trip to Wisconsin to evaluate many of the top prospects in attendance at this platform.  There is pool play and single elimination bracket play with teams competing in front of the plethora of Division 1, 2, 3, NAIA, and NJCAA College Coaches that annually are in attendance.  Multi-Team discounts are again available with all 1st and 2nd place teams receiving individual trophies/medals and t-shirts.  For more information on the 2018 Summer Jam please CLICK HERE
