We continued to switch gears occasionally each week as we glance at a number of the talented freshmen in the Midwest today.  Here’s a look at five more talented up and coming prospects to know…

Note – Listed in alphabetical order

Jeffrey Brazziel – G/F – Milwaukee Bradley Tech (WI)
A skilled wiry 6-4 wing with a nice ceiling, Brazziel played his best basketball this past July as he delivered some high caliber scoring performances that opened a number of eyes.  A smooth talent with an old school offensive game, Brazziel can finish at multiple levels and he has the ability to finish through traffic with a variety of moves.  He is arguably a top 5 prospect in the state of Wisconsin for the class of 2022 with a handful of others also in the mix.  With hard work and continued development look for Brazziel to really start to make consistent noise at the high school level in the coming years.

Gabe Burkle – F – Cedar Rapids Prairie (IA)
A classic blue collar interior prospect with skill, Burkle can finish through contact and he’s shown an ability to face up and knock down the jumper.  Standing a solid near 6-6 already, Burkle is advances instinctively, physically, and skill wise and look for him to be an immediate double double impact guy at the high school level.

Zach Howell – G/F – Springfield Catholic (MO)
A talented guard with a smooth perimeter stroke, Howell can produce in multiple ways.  He sees the floor well, his handle has improved, and he’s shown an ability to create and score in transition and off the bounce in half court sets.  A solid catch and shoot talent who checks a lot of areas in the box score, Howell is a hard working effort type talent with skill and upside in the coming years.

Amarion Nimmers – PG – Rock Island (IL)
At his best Nimmers has some electricity to his game.  He handles the ball well, he can break down opposing guards to create, and he has the ability to score at multiple levels.  Defensively there is some promise and potential as well.  Still figuring some things out, Nimmers has a really nice ceiling and pedigree that drips with potential and promise in the coming years.

Seth Trimble – PG – Menomonee Falls (WI)
Another quality lead guard with a nice pedigree, Trimble is instinctive and skilled and has firmly established himself among the best in the class for the state of Wisconsin.  He handles the ball well and he utilizes that to create and score in a variety of ways.  He can break down opposing guards and get to the paint where he’s at his best dropping off passes or finishing through contact.  On the perimeter Trimble is in control of the tempo and his jumper can be made off the catch or bounce beyond the arc and at the mid-range level.  He’s added some solid athleticism recently and he’s just getting started.  Another high ceiling young talent whose best basketball lies ahead.
