Hot off a nice tournament at Pontiac and an offer from SEMO. We catch up with 6’4 Joliet West G Jaiden Lee who is rising up D1 recruiting boards. Here is what he had to say…

JO - What schools are currently involved in your recruitment?
JL - “Right now, I have been talking to SIU, Toledo…I have a visit there on January 11 , I have talked to California State Fullerton, their assistant coach saw me play at an open run and said that he was very interested in me, I talked to the Youngstown State coach who said he liked me as well and of course I have a strong relationship with Coach Crump over at Southeast Missouri State.”

JO - What makes SEMO an interesting option for you?
JL - “Well, I first talked to Coach Crump after we played Simeon down in Pontiac he told me that he was very interested in me and that he wanted to give me a full ride to go to that school the same exact day and when we talked over the phone he told me that if I needed any help or had any questions just to give him a call so right there I can tell he will he able to help me in the long run not only with basketball but growing up to be a young man, so once I get a visit down there I'll definitely be staying in touch with their program”

JO - What makes you a prospect that schools should get involved with?
JL - “My height, I'm very long and lanky. I can shoot and knock down shots from deep. I also have the ability to play defense with the wingspan I have to contest shots and be a solid basketball player.”
