As the 2022 continues to head towards its senior year a growing list of 2023 prospects are on deck to take center stage over the next 12 months.  One such talent that continues to trend upward is junior forward Milan Momcilovic of Pewaukee High School in Wisconsin.

Equipped with a near 6-8 190 pound frame, the talented forward helped power his high school team to a state title last season and then followed that up with a high level summer campaign with the Phenom University program helping them reach the prestigious Nike Peach Jam at the 16U level.

A skilled forward that has an exceptional perimeter stroke, Momcilovic is a face up forward in the mold of former Wisconsin native and NBA player Steve Novak.  His ability to knock down the perimeter shot is consistent and advanced but he’s also shown solid post up scoring ability with an arsenal that includes a variety of finishes making him a difficult cover for opposing teams.  His instincts are advanced as he sees the floor well and he has good vision but his bread and butter is an ability to stretch the floor and knock down the perimeter shot with a high level of consistency.

Just starting to scratch the surface, Momcilovic’s best basketball is in front of him and schools are taking notice.  After adding an over from Iowa State yesterday, Milan now holds offers from the Cyclones, Oral Roberts, and Marquette with a number of schools also showing interest.  Primed for a big junior year, expect Momcilovic’s stock to continue to trend upward moving forward as he’s one to watch closely in the 2023 class both regionally and nationally.
