While only in the seventh grade, Trey Resch already has a very good skill set. Resch is a 5’10” point guard out of Wisconsin that plays with Chapman Basketball Academy. Just a few weeks ago his talents were on full display at the Generation Next All-Star Camp where he earned himself All-Camp Selection honors for the 2027 class.

Resch is a gifted scorer especially with his shooting ability. He is a knockdown shooter with fantastic form at a young age that not only shoots it well spotting up but can also create his own shot. He moves extremely well with the ball and has a knack for creating separation. The guard shoots it very well from both the mid-range as well as from three.

While he is such a skilled scorer, Resch also stands out on the other end. He plays with very good energy on the defensive end at all times. Resch truly battles on the defensive end out on the perimeter to lock down opposing guards. He has some quickness and agility to stick with opposing ball handlers.

At the Generation Next All-Star Camp, Resch had a near dominant performance with his ability on both ends. Not only was he one of the top scorers of the camp averaging 17 points per game but also did so efficiently. Resch shot it at 58.3% from the field as well to 54.5% from beyond the arc.
