Throughout the entire spring and summer, one of the top and most consistent players of the NY2LA Association at the 15U level was Ryan Meehan with JH1 Elite. Whether it was at the Best of the South Tournament in Atlanta, Grassroots Summer Championships in Orlando, or countless other tournaments during this year, the sophomore was a standout to earn himself first team all-league selection on the association’s 15U level.
Meehan has good size in the backcourt standing at 6’4” as well to a very good offensive skill set. He is a versatile two guard that is not only a confident knockdown shooter but can also make plays off the dribble. He has a great jumper and shoots it a high percentage spotting up from the outside with deep range. The sophomore has good handle as well as nice moves with the ball to get to the basket well. Not only a shooter, but he is also a good decision maker with the ball that can find the open man. Meehan is a smart guard that knows how to play.
While it is still very early in his sophomore season at Marquette University High School, Meehan is already standing out this season. The guard is averaging 7.5 points a game while shooting a lofty 60% from three as well as the field. With all his scoring ability, Meehan is a 2024 in Wisconsin to track.
