Milan Momcilovic, Marcus Hall, Jeremy Lorenz, Levi Birkholz, Cal Klesmit, Arhman Lewis, the list goes on of Wisconsin players in the 2023 class that have made their college commitments. While many of the top seniors have picked their college for next year, there is still some talented players on the board. Here are the top five available Wisconsin seniors from the NY2LA player rankings.

Demarion Burch – 2023 – G – Team Haliburton

Burch has taken great strides this year on the court to work his way all the way up to the second spot in the rankings. He received his first division one offer in July from Wisconsin-Milwaukee and has since added additional offers from Bradley, Robert Morris, Valparaiso, Omaha, and North Carolina A&T. Not only does Burch have a versatile scoring ability but has a nice blend of athleticism, size, strength, and quickness. For whichever of these mid-majors that is able to land them, he has all the tools to be a contributor from day one.

Simeon Murchison – 2023 – F – Team Haliburton

The senior forward checks in at seventh in the rankings and second for uncommitted players. Not only does Murchison stands at 6’8” but has continued to develop his skills. As well to being a force in the paint on both ends, he has some perimeter skills too hitting jumpers and putting the ball on the floor. He received his first division one offer from Wisconsin-Milwaukee over the summer and could end up being one of the top players from Wisconsin 2023 class.

Luther Smith – 2023 – G – MTXE Premier

Over the course of the spring and summer with MTXE, Smith proved to be one of the top scoring guards in the area. A true playmaker with the ball in his hands with a nice ability to create from the outside as well as get into the paint. This grassroots season, he was named to the NY2LA Association 17U second team. Last year Louisiana Monroe offered him and some of the programs that are currently in touch with him include Lindenwood, Southern Illinois, Tennessee Tech, and Western Illinois.

Tyran Cook – 2023 – PG – Team Haliburton

With his combination of athleticism, high level scoring ability from all the levels, and can create for others, Cook has plenty of tools for the next level. He scored 22.5 points a game as a junior at Waukesha South and continued his high level of play with Team Haliburton over the grassroots season. While he has yet to receive an offer, he does have interest from a number of division one programs including Cornell, Northern Illinois, SIUE, St. Thomas, Wisconsin-Green Bay, and others.

Robert Peters – 2023 – F – 24Up

Peters rounds out the list as the sixteenth ranked player and fifth for uncommitted. He had a breakout junior season at West Allis Hale with 18.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game and only continued to grow his game from tournament to tournament with 24Up. Peters is a tough and versatile forward who stands at 6’8”. He impressed in the spring with his interior game and from there only continued to develop his perimeter game to earn himself third team honors on the NY2LA Association.
