One of the top seniors remaining in all of Wisconsin currently is Luther Smith. While he is being recruited by a number of division one programs from around the region and beyond, Smith remains uncommitted.

The 6’1” guard had a tremendous grassroots season in which he was named to the second team of the NY2LA Association on the 17U level with MTXE Premier. He has been continuing that high level of play this season at Sussex Hamilton High School. He is currently one of the leading scorers in the entire state with 30.4 points per game to have them out to a 6-1 record. He is also averaging 5.7 rebounds plus shooting 44.4% from three.

Smith received his lone division one offer from Louisiana Monroe last year. Other programs currently showing the most interest in him include Appalachian State, Citadel, Lindenwood, Southern Illinois, Tennessee State, Western Illinois, and Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Whoever lands Smith is getting one of the top pure scorers in the region. The guard has a great ability to score from all three levels and can create for himself. An electric playmaker that moves very well with the ball in his hands beating defenders off the dribble and creating his own shot.

Smith said that he will most likely be looking to make his commitment following his high school season.
