One of the top uncommitted seniors remaining in the entire Midwest and top available senior in Wisconsin has made his college commitment. On Friday Demarion Burch, the 6’4” senior wing guard of Milwaukee Hamilton High School and Team Haliburton, announced his commitment to Bradley.

Burch, the second ranked 2023 prospect in the NY2LA Wisconsin rankings, picked Bradley over his other scholarship offers from Milwaukee, North Carolina A&T, Omaha, Robert Morris, and Valparaiso. Bradley had offered him this past summer back in July.

There were several factors off the court that were the main draw for Burch to choose Bradley over his other suitors. “The education part of it,” Burch first said about picking Bradley. “It has all the resources to help me be successful for all four year. The campus as well is very unique, I love it already.” The last factor for him was it being in Illinois.

The coaching staff also was a big factor in his commitment. “Because first (Associate Head) Coach Foster is from Milwaukee and we have so much in common. Next, I’ve seen (Head) Coach Wardle put in the work and he knows how to win and that I want to do, win,” Burch said on how the coaching staff was able to win him over.

“I like to play fast and play above the rim and I feel like Bradley Basketball just does that.” He sees his game fitting in “great” at Bradley. Burch is currently one of the leading scorers in all of Wisconsin averaging 29 points in addition to averaging 5.1 assists and 2.7 steals to have Milwaukee Hamilton at a 9-2 record.
