The 2024 Wisconsin class is a highly intriguing one with all of its talent. There are a few high major players in addition to a number of division one level recruits plus numerous other scholarship level talents. Here are several of the top juniors in Wisconsin that should have plenty of college coaches’ eyes on them and could see their recruitment grow to the next level this spring.

Bennett Basich – 2024 – G – Arrowhead HS – Phenom University

Basich is a skilled and tenacious guard whose game has continued to grow over the past two seasons. There is a lot to like about his game as he can make in impact in so many ways. Whether it is his versatile scoring ability, tough on ball defensive play, vocal leadership, or energetic play. He currently has an offer from Southern Illinois and should be a popular name at the mid-major level now.

Will Hornseth – 2024 – PF – De Pere HS – Wisconsin Blizzard

High skill level, consistency, size, basketball IQ, fundamentals…there is just so much to like about the 6’8” power forwards’ game. Over the past couple of years Hornseth has just continued to progress his game and play at a high level to turn himself into one of the top juniors in all of Wisconsin. On the season he is averaging 16 points while shooting over 75% from the field. He has earned offers from Illinois State, St. Thomas, Toledo, and Wisconsin-Green Bay and could see this list greatly grow in the coming months.

Sekou Konneh – 2024 – SF – St. Thomas More HS – Team Haliburton

Not only has Konneh developed into one of the top 2024 players in Wisconsin, but he is also one of the highest upside players in the entire Midwest. At 6’8” with his great length, athleticism, lockdown defensive ability, and greatly increasing offensive skill set, Konneh has tremendous tools for the next level. He has an offer from Wisconsin-Milwaukee plus a growing list of high majors getting involved that should only continue to grow immensely.

Brock Massey – 2024 – SG – Mauston HS – Wisconsin Swing

It has been a true breakout season for Massey at Mauston High School. He has been one of the leading scorers in all of Wisconsin at a staggering 29.2 points per game. While he may truly stand out with his scoring, the 6’4” wing guard is more of a well-rounded player. His recruitment interest has started to grow as he is fresh off a visit to Michigan Tech, and it should continue to exponentially build if he continues the play from his junior season into the spring.

Nolan Minessale – 2024 – G/F – Marquette University HS – Chapman Basketball Academy

After a breakout grassroots season last year with CBA, Minessale has continued that level of play into his junior season. He is currently averaging 22.7 points, 5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.8 steals per game to have led his team to a 13-5 record. He holds an offer from Northern Michigan but should attract much greater interest with his ability to attack the rim, explosive play, length, and improved outside shooting.
