Over the past couple of years, Dupree Fletcher Jr. has continued to show on the hardwood that he is one of the top point guards in Wisconsin’s 2024 class. After a tremendous sophomore season, he then followed that into his grassroots season with Power 5 last year. Fletcher is having one of the top high school seasons in the area right now during his junior season for Carmen Northwest in Milwaukee.

So far on the season, Fletcher is amongst the leading scorers in all of Wisconsin with 23.1 points per game to have Carmen Northwest out to a 16-3 record. As well, he is also leading his team in both rebounds and assists too with 8.0 and 6.3, respectively.

As far as his college recruitment, Fletcher received an offer from Grambling State back during his freshman season. “Love their passion for the game and how much they want to win,” is what Fletcher had to say about Grambling State. Some of the other programs showing interest in him currently include Appalachian State, Winona State, and Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Fletcher is one of the most elusive and dynamic playmaking point guards in the entire region. He has lightning quickness with the ball in his hands to constantly be able to penetrate the defense and make plays for himself and others. He has a great combination of handle, finishing ability around the paint, and distributing. There are few players with his high-level ability to score and distribute the basketball in his 2024 class around the Midwest.
