2024 6’6 Keauntrey Barnes - MidPro Academy 17U
Swish N Dish was my first time seeing Keauntrey Barnes and came away impressed with his athleticism and defensive potential. At 6’6, Barnes was one of the most explosive players in the entire event and finished some highlight reel plays above the rim. He is at his best in transition where he put down some big time dunks, but also impacted games defensively - contesting shots at the rim and guarding multiple positions. Definitely a prospect to keep eyes on this spring with his athletic tools and upside.

2025 6’3 Derek Collins - 94Feet Elite 16U
Derek Collins is a lengthy guard who had some really good moments at Swish N Dish, including 14 points and the game winning bucket in a hard fought win over EG10. Collins is an active defender who can play passing lanes and keep ball handlers in front, and is at his best getting out in transition where he can finish at the rim. Collins also made some nice passes for easy buckets when drawing defenders on his attacks and plays with a competitive fire.

2024 6’7 Grant Manz - Wisconsin Swing 17U
Grant Manz is an intriguing post prospect who D2s in the region should be watching closely this Spring. At 6’7 he is a good rebounder who really competes in the paint, and does a good job of positioning himself early and snatching the ball out of the air. Manz has great footwork around the basket to create angles to score, and finishes dirty work buckets on putbacks and drop off passes. Manz does a lot of small things to impact winning and should be a key piece for his Wisconsin Swing 17U group.

2026 6’8 Kevin Pittman - Phenom University 15U
Kevin Pittman is a young big who showed flashes of his upside with a talented Phenom U 15U team. Pittman has taken some big strides in his development since I last saw him in the fall, and is a legit 6’8 with good length. Pittman made some tough catches in traffic, finished at the rim, blocked shots, ran the floor, and is an improving athlete - putting down a couple of dunks in transition. There is still a lot of work to do, but Pittman has some intriguing tools and I like the progress he has shown.

2025 6’1 Makai Kvamme - All In Athletics 17U
Makai Kvamme is a smooth lead guard who played up with All In 17U at Swish N Dish. Kvamme had no problem being the primary ball handler for his team, even playing older competition, and was able to consistently beat his defender, draw help, and find open teammates off the dribble. He has good mechanics on his jumper, knocked down catch and shoot threes, and showed a nice midrange pull up game. Definitely a 2025 name to know.
