As well to the top players and stock boosters list, there were plenty of other players who had big weekends at session one of the NY2LA Association. Here are some of the others who impressed this weekend.
Jayden Banks – 2024 – PG – Team Ramey
A quick point guard who is strong with the ball in his hands. He excels playing on the attack getting into the paint and making plays. He had a standout performance on Sunday scoring 14 points and really creating for his teammates to finish off a 4-0 weekend for Team Ramey.
Clem Butler – 2024 – C – All Area Basketball
Butler is a very intriguing big man standing at 6’11”. He is still developing but there are definitely some aspects already to like about his game. A true rim protector with his size and length plus moves well around the paint. Offensively he can not only finish around the paint but also shoots it well spotting up from three.
Emmanuel Delk – 2023 – PF – Marshall Warriors
The unsigned senior is a 6’7” forward with great strength. Delk is a highly active player down in the paint on both ends of the floor. He moves well for his size and is highly impactful player with all he can do. He scored it effectively getting garbage baskets down inside but was just as effective with his rebounding and tough interior defense.
Tim Franks – 2024 – SG – Chapman Basketball
Franks continues to show he is one of the top scorers in the Midwest for the 2024 class. As well to his offensive ability, he has good size in the back court at 6’5”. A pure catch and shoot player that hits his shots at a very high percentage whenever he gets a clean look at the rim. Franks has also continued to greatly round out his entire game to be a complete guard as well.
Jace Gilbert – 2024 – PF – MTXE
While a standout on the gridiron who is committed to Iowa State, Gilbert can also play on the hardwood. He stands at 6’5” with an incredibly strong build. When he got the ball near the paint, he scored it right through defenders but can also put the ball on the floor and plays with a big motor.
