MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin - Prosperity Events, L.L.C. “Prosperity” has acquired the exclusive rights to the NY2LA Sports brand, renowned as one of the premier independent basketball platforms in the country for nearly two decades. Prosperity members Jeremy McGlothlin and Kevin Fisher will assume the day-to-day operations of NY2LA Sports and its affiliated brands. As part of the purchase, Prosperity has also acquired the exclusive rights to the NY2LA Clothing and NY2LA Basketball brands, respectively.
Over the past two decades, through the leadership of founder Antonio Curro and his family, NY2LA Sports has served as a development proving ground for young athletes to develop and enjoy the game of basketball while also learning the importance of teamwork. Thousands of NY2LA Sports participants have secured college scholarships over the years with hundreds also fulfilling their dream to play at the NBA level including, but not limited to, current NBA players Jayson Tatum, Tyrese Haliburton, Tyler Herro, Chet Holmgren, Brandin Podziemski, Jalen Suggs, Jalen Johnson, Jalen Brunson, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Myles Turner, Kevon Looney, Karl-Anthony Towns, D’Angelo Russell, Max Christie, Jordan Poole, Bradley Beal, Anthony Black, Jevon Carter, Ayo Dosunmu, Patrick Baldwin Jr., etc.
