One of the top juniors in all of Wisconsin, Leon Bond has started to see the scholarship offers roll in during the second half of 2020. Bond is a 6’6” wing forward of Wauwatosa East High School and plays with JH1 Elite.

In June, Bond received his first offer from nearby Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Since then Eastern Michigan, St. Thomas, and Western Illinois have all offered Bond. In addition to his four mid-major offers, plenty of high-major programs have started to notice him. Creighton, Indiana, Iowa State, Marquette, Virginia, Wisconsin, among others have shown interest in him.

“I definitely like being able to get to know more about the schools that offered me and knowing their coaching staffs,” Bond said about the schools that have offered him so far. He is looking forward to visiting all of the schools that have shown interest in him once able to do so.

In the young season, Wauwatosa East is 3-0 currently behind the strong play of Bond. At this point he is averaging 15.7 points and 7 rebounds per game. The athletic wing has a great ability to attack the basket off the dribble and finish strongly at the rim. However, a few things he is looking to improve upon right now include his handle, shooting, and confidence.
