2023 Tre Miller is having a breakout junior season this winter for Janesville Parker HS (WI), averaging 18 points and 3 assists.
Miller is a physical lead guard who does a lot of his damage offensively from the three-point line – shooting 41% from deep on almost 6 attempts per game.
I first saw Miller during summer league action last June, and he has taken some big steps forward as a player in the 7 months since then. The turning point may have come after a meeting with Janesville Parker Head Coach Matt Bredeson.
“Tre came to me last August and asked me what his next steps could be to play college basketball. I told him I wanted him to be a leader and he has more than accomplished that. Tre has done a great job of being a role model for our Varsity, which is very young with 6 sophomores and 3 juniors on an 11-man roster. Tre helps those guys to be their best daily.”
Miller has had some explosive scoring outbursts this season, scoring 20+ 9 times, and 30+ 3 times, including 34 points in a win over rival Janesville Craig. He is shooting 41% from three on almost 6 attempts per game and can take over games offensively when he gets hot. Miller will play with the Wisconsin Swing on the NY2LA Basketball circuit this spring and summer.
