Over the past several months one sophomore from Wisconsin who has taken great strides in his game has been Andrew Graf of Brookfield East High School and MTXE Premier. After serving in a reserve role during his freshman season, the point guard had a breakout sophomore season and has continued that this spring on the NY2LA Association.

Last spring and summer Graf was a good facilitator but has developed into much more since then. Graf has developed into a quality starter this past season at Brookfield East averaging 12 points and 2.5 assists per game while only a sophomore.

This spring he has continued to show his point guard skills as well to a good ability to score the basketball himself. His ability to score when attacking the basket and perimeter shooting have both greatly increased. He has continued to show his high IQ and ability to get into the defense and create for others too. Graf is a very good decision maker with the ball in his hands that sees the floor well. While only a sophomore he has advanced skills and knows how to play.

At both the NY2LA Swish N’ Dish and Grassroots Showcase, Graf was one of the top point guards amongst the entire 16U field. With his floor general abilities plus scoring, Graf continues to be a key piece along with Connor Roffers, Ryan Meehan for the 16U MTXE Premier team that continues to have success this season.
