One senior from Wisconsin whose recruitment stock has continued to grow exponentially over the past several months has been Marcus Hall of D.C. Everest High School and the Wisconsin Swing program.  The 6’6” guard/forward only received his first division two scholarship back in May but now holds a handful of them including multiple division one offers.

To date, Concordia St. Paul, Minnesota Duluth, Purdue Fort Wayne, University of Mary, Winona State, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Wisconsin-Parkside have all offered Hall. He discussed a few of these schools that he is has visits scheduled to in the next few days.

“One thing that I really like about Green Bay is the coaching staff. They have been great about building a relationship throughout the process and they have a great group of coaches who I feel like will lead to a lot of success,” Hall said about the first division one program that offered him.

For Purdue Fort Wayne, he said “From what they have shown me and what I have asked others who are familiar with the program, their development seems like it’s next level. They have sent many guys pro and even if they don’t, their players are many times better after playing there for four years so that’s a huge positive.”

Lastly when discussing Milwaukee, “Their player development seems very solid, but their coaches have had a ton of success in the past and that is probably the biggest positive. I feel like with their coaching staff they can achieve great success in the upcoming years.”

Some of the other schools that have been in touch with Hall include Indiana State, Northern Iowa, South Dakota State, Southeast Missouri State, and Southern Illinois.

While Hall is unsure of when he is going to make a commitment, it may not be far off. He would like to make his commitment before his high school season starts but will not rush his decision because of that.
